If One More Knew ("IOMK") is an awareness and educational publication of March Mud Media LLC.
Educational and informational purposes
IOMK publishes information intended to increase understanding of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), the experiences of people affected by it, and the ways greater awareness may improve their experiences.
IOMK does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized healthcare recommendations. Nothing published by IOMK is intended to establish a healthcare provider-patient relationship or to replace consultation with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Medical decisions, including decisions concerning symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, medications, exercise, physical therapy, or other healthcare matters, should be made in consultation with an appropriate healthcare professional who can consider the individual's particular circumstances.
Lived experience and individual perspectives
An important part of IOMK's mission is helping people understand experiences that may otherwise go unseen or unrecognized.
Some IOMK content therefore reflects experiences, perspectives, or observations shared by people living with EDS, family members, partners, healthcare professionals, or others. These perspectives can provide valuable insight, but an individual's experience should not be understood as establishing a medical fact, demonstrating that others will have the same experience, or providing medical guidance.
Experiences with EDS vary from person to person.

IOMK may discuss or link to medical research, clinical literature, professional guidance, and other health-related information. We seek to use reliable sources and to present information accurately and in context, but medical knowledge and clinical guidance can change over time.
Publication by IOMK should not be interpreted as a representation that particular information or an approach is appropriate for any specific individual.

Some IOMK content is intended to increase awareness among physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals. That content is educational in nature and is not intended to establish a standard of care, provide clinical instructions, or substitute for a professional's independent clinical judgment.
